CLOTH PAPA RETURN POLICY

At Cloth Papa, we want you to feel confident in your purchases. If something doesn’t work out, we’re here to make the return process as straightforward as possible.

 RETURNS FOR IN-STORE AND ONLINE PURCHASES

You can return eligible items purchased either in-store or online to our store:

What you need to know:

  • Both in-store and online purchases can be returned in person for an exchange or store credit.
  • Online purchases requiring a refund must be returned by mail to our online returns address.

HOW TO RETURN ONLINE PURCHASES

For refunds on items purchased online, please send them back to:

When returning items, include:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase.
  • All original packaging and tags.

If you’d like to exchange an item purchased online, email us at [Insert Contact Email] with your order details and the item(s) you’d like instead. We’ll confirm availability and guide you through the process.

 RETURN CONDITIONS

We’re happy to accept returns under the following conditions:

  1. The return is made within 30 days of purchase.
  2. Items are in their original, unworn condition, free from fragrances or damage.
  3. All tags, labels, and original packaging are intact.
  4. Proof of purchase is provided (receipt, tax invoice, or order number).

 EXCLUSIONS

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for:

  • Items marked as “final sale.”
  • Personal items such as underwear, hair accessories, hosiery, or jewellery (for hygiene reasons).
  • Gift cards or store credits.

Certain items, such as formalwear or partywear, may require additional conditions, such as intact security sashes, to qualify for returns or exchanges.

 FAULTY ITEMS

If an item is faulty or does not meet its description, please contact us within 30 days to organize a return. Faulty items will be assessed, and we’ll offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

 RETURNING WITHOUT PROOF OF PURCHASE

If you do not have proof of purchase:

  • We may offer an exchange for the same item in a different size, provided it is in original condition and part of our current stock.
  • Refunds or store credits cannot be processed without proof of purchase.

 ONLINE RETURN COSTS

  • Return postage for online orders is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
  • If your refund causes your total order value to fall below the free shipping threshold, the shipping cost for the original order will be deducted from your refund.
  • For exchanges, you may need to include a pre-paid return postage bag or arrange for return shipping costs.
